About project

The main aim of the project is strengthening of bilateral cooperation on the level of universities. In case of project "Cooperation between TUKE and NTNU in the area of distributed computer networks security" there is an target to create cooperation between Technical University of Kosice, Slovak Republic and Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim for the purpose of research and exploration of new models and methods in the field of security in computer networks.

The aim of the project is to bring mutual attention in the research activities, technological possibilities and to evaluate research potential of both parties for long period of time and also get to know the mutual differences in educational systems.

The main activities of the project will be the mobility of PhD students, the contribution of the research team on various workshops, seminars, excursion of industrial parks in Norway or Slovakia, publishing of joint educational publication with the focus on security in computer systems and networks in two languages, publishing of specialized number of research journal Acta Electrotechnica et Informatica (AEI).

Mobility with the planning of 16 persons (8 PhD student from Slovakia, 8 PhD students from Norway), cooperation in the field of creation study material and the exchange of experience in educational processes in the area of the study program Informatics, which has been accredited on both universities. The expected project impact will be mutual enrichment of both parties in the field of new knowledge and research of new methods and models in security of communication systems, as well as the increase of knowledge of research activities done abroad and for student the opportunity to study in a different language and getting to know the culture of the country.
